satisfied with the watch or accessory that you purchase from
us, you can return it within 30 days of your purchase date
as long as it is in mint condition (not used, not worn, and
with the plastic protective wrapper still intact) for a full
refund. For more details, please read our return policy below.
Defective products are handled differently. We will only repair or replace returned defective items. This policy has been established to insure that products are not intentionally damaged for return. For more information about handling of defective merchandise, please read the Important Guidelines and Return Procedures sections below.
Return Policy
Our return policy has been established to ensure total customer satisfaction within specific company guidelines and procedures. We require that all returns (watches and accessories including watch boxes) be sent to us in their original brand new conditions, not used, worn or tampered with.
Important Guidelines: Every watch that we deliver is inspected three times (first immediately following production, second prior to inventory stocking and third prior to shipping) to ensure that there is absolutely no damage or scratches anywhere on the crystal, watch case or the band and that the watch is functioning properly. Every return is thoroughly inspected by our receiving inspection and product condition is documented. If returns are not in their original mint conditions, we reserve the right to send the returns back to the customers. If the watch is found to be defective, the watch will be either repaired or replaced with the same model and the original band will be put on the new watch. Credits or refunds are not given for defective watches. They can only be exchanged for the same models. The same policy applies to watch bands. Defective watch bands can only be exchanged for the same bands. Should the defective watch or band be discontinued and no longer available, the customer can choose another item of equal value as a replacement. For defective merchandise, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges to Charles David Watches. We will pay for the return shipping charges when we send out the replacement to the customer.
International Orders (non-USA regions, territories, etc.): All applicable Customs import/export tariffs, taxes and handling fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Initiation of International Orders is the acknowledged acceptance of all associated Customs import/export tariffs, taxes and handling fees by the individual initiating the order.
Return Procedures
- The duration of our return policy is 30 days after the package is delivered. Customers must contact us within those 30 days to get a “Return Merchandise Authorization” number if they want to make a return or if their merchandise is found to be defective immediately upon receipt. After the initial contact, domestic customers have 2 weeks to return the merchandise to us; International customers have 3 weeks to return the merchandise to us. Note: If merchandise is found to be defective after 30 days, the customer is entitled to the protection offered within the guidelines established by the Individual Warranty for the product purchased. Individual Warranty information such as where to send your watch for warranty service is included with the packaging for every watch or product that is covered separately. - Write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box (not the watch box).
- Include the original invoice and all the warranty paper work. If making a partial return, make a copy of the invoice and send the copy. Write your reason for the return on the invoice or enclose a separate statement explaining specific reasons for the return.
- Please mail the return package with tracking and insurance to our address found on the invoice. We cannot be responsible for return packages lost in transit.
- Do not write “Watch, watches, etc.” on the outside of the return packaging.
Example: Send your package to; “Quality Assurance”, “CDW Services”, “Charles David” or “CD”, NOT “Charles David Watches”. Omitting the word “Watch” or “Watches” from your addressing will help avoid the possibility of theft during transit.
Note: If any of the above procedures are not followed, we do not assume liability for transit services, and reserve the right to refuse the package and/or return it to the customer.
For non defective items: After a package is received, please allow 5 business days for it to be inspected and evaluated. A refund or exchange will be given in accordance with our Terms & Conditions Policy. We do not charge restocking fees. We do need to cover our related processing expenses. A USD$20.charge will be applied to all refunds and returns to cover our processing and handling costs as well as credit card processing fees.
